Where Dreams Awaken Under Starlit Skies
"We didn't set out to build just another hotel. Honestly, we wanted to create something that'd make you feel alive when the sun goes down - a place where the night isn't something to sleep through, but something to experience. Every corner here tells you it's okay to stay up late, to wonder, to explore what darkness really means when you strip away the fear and add a little magic."
Back in 2018, three friends sat under a Vancouver sky and realized something - the city had amazing hotels, sure, but none that really celebrated the night. We wanted to flip the script on hospitality and make the nocturnal hours just as incredible as the day.
Three insomniacs with a wild idea and way too much coffee. We sketched the first plans on a napkin at 2am - probably should've used proper paper, but that's how we roll. The concept was simple: what if a hotel actually worked WITH your natural rhythms instead of against them?
We found this stunning property on Celestial Way (yeah, the name's almost too perfect). The building had good bones but needed serious love. Spent months just walking the space at different hours, figuring out how light moves through it, where the stars peek through best.
Construction kicked off right when the world went sideways. But honestly? That year taught us patience and got us thinking even deeper about what people need from a space - comfort, escape, a little wonder. We added the observatory tower during this phase.
This was the year of getting everything just right. Blackout curtains that actually work, soundproofing that lets you sleep till noon guilt-free, lighting systems that adapt to your mood. We tested every mattress personally - some of us are still recovering.
February 14th, we opened our doors. Felt right to launch on a night when love's in the air. Our first guests were this couple from Toronto who stayed up till 4am in the observatory. They get it. That's when we knew we'd built something special.
The night isn't an afterthought here - it's the main event. We've designed everything around making your evenings unforgettable.
Fancy without being stuffy. We believe luxury should feel welcoming, not intimidating. Come as you are.
There's always something new to find here. We love when guests stumble onto our hidden rooftop garden at midnight.
We remember if you like your coffee at 11pm or prefer morning stargazing. Small details make big differences.
Founder & Creative Director
Former architect who couldn't stop dreaming about buildings that come alive after dark. Marina's the one who insisted on the observatory and won't shut up about moon phases. We love her for it.
Head of Guest Experience
Spent 15 years in luxury hospitality before realizing he's naturally nocturnal. James knows every guest's name and somehow always appears exactly when you need him. It's almost spooky.
Executive Chef
Trained in Paris, perfected her craft in Tokyo, landed here because she believes midnight deserves gourmet too. Her 3am truffle pasta is legendary among our regulars.
Wellness Director
Holistic healer who discovered that nighttime treatments hit different. David's midnight sound bath sessions have converted even the biggest skeptics. Don't knock it till you've tried it.
Night Concierge Lead
Vancouver native who knows every secret spot in the city worth visiting after sunset. Elena's gotten us exclusive access to places we didn't know existed. She's basically magic.
Observatory Guide
Astrophysicist who ditched academia because he wanted to share the stars with real people, not just colleagues. Mike makes the cosmos accessible and won't judge your astronomy knowledge.
Look, we're not trying to revolutionize hospitality or whatever buzzword's trending. We just think the night's underrated and people deserve a place that gets that. Whether you're here for a wedding under the stars, a solo retreat to reset your internal clock, or just because you've always wanted to try stargazing with a glass of excellent wine - we've got you. This place runs on curiosity, good vibes, and the belief that some of life's best moments happen when most folks are asleep.
Whether you're planning a visit or just curious about what we're building here, we'd love to hear from you. Seriously - we read every message and Marina probably responds at 2am.
